This is a one-day live program for pharmacists and other health care professionals who care for patients with cancer.
New developments in pharmacotherapy and a better understanding of cancer origins continue to revolutionize the treatment of patients with cancer and challenge the clinical pharmacist to stay abreast of emerging therapies with novel toxicities. This conference will examine approaches to the treatment of common solid tumor and hematologic malignancies. Highlighted topics will include a review of current management of solid tumors (melanoma and renal cell carcinoma) and hematologic malignancies (chronic lymphocytic leukemia), novel therapies, toxicities, and supportive care management.
