Planned Giving

At some point in our lives, everyone thinks about how to transfer our legacies on to family, friends and future generations. Estate planning is important for ensuring that your wishes will be carried out and that taxes will be minimized. Estate gifts are one of the most popular methods of supporting higher education and benefit those who follow in your footsteps. Please consider the College of Pharmacy in your estate planning. The following language can be used in your will, revocable trust, or beneficiary designation:

I leave (e.g., % of your estate, $ amount, residue) to the University of Illinois Foundation, an Illinois nonprofit corporation, to support higher education at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy.

If you would like to speak confidentially with a gift planner at the University of Illinois Foundation about your estate gift or would like to hear about the tax and/or cash-flow benefits of charitable gifts to the College of Pharmacy, please contact us. Such gifts can provide you with income and security

now and the college receives your support at a later date. Help ensure that future generations have the support and resources to succeed.

Are we already a part of your estate plan? Please tell us, so that we may thank you and make sure your gift supports the program or purpose you care most about.
