Kelly K.H. Wan Scholarship

Mr. Wan's daughter established this scholarship in honor of her father, Kelly K. H. Wan, who left his family and friends in Hong Kong to attend college in the United States.  Holding a full-time job at a restaurant while he attended the College of Pharmacy at the UIC Circle Campus, Mr. Wan managed not only to support himself but also to provide income for his family in Hong Kong.  After he graduated in 1970, Mr. Wan moved to Los Angeles and worked for 33 years as a pharmacist for Kaiser Permanente.  Mr. Wan still lives in Southern California with his wife, Winnie.  Their two children, Maureen and Raymond, also live in California.

Preference is given to those working, going to school while taking care of a family.
