Zora Kosanovich joined the Walgreen Company in 1984 immediately after earning her bachelor of science in pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy. She was promoted to pharmacy manager later that year and became a pharmacy relations representative in 1989. Two years later, Zora was promoted to pharmacy supervisor for the Chicago North Suburban District. After another two years, she was named pharmacy supervisor for the Chicago West Suburban District. In April 1997, she was promoted to regional director of Western pharmacy operations for Walgreens, and, in January 2002, became regional director of Eastern pharmacy operations. Zora was a member of the Illinois Pharmacists Association and the American Pharmaceutical Association.
